Reuse RX ID

Post by fireball »

Hi,

is it possible to reuse the same RX ID on multiple model slots, so I can use the same RX on different models? If I try to set the same ID on two model slots, Taranis tells me that the RX ID is already in use.

Best regards
Marcus

Yes.

You can set the RX is to any value / reuse it.

...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

...and you will have a warning so that you know if you've chosen a duplicate by mistake.

ID is set by default to the number of the model slot when a model is created, but can then be changed. It is of course not updated when the model is moved, hence the warning as recreating a model on the now empty slot would create a duplicate.

It's one of those things that "can't be done right". But as long as you know what happens you can use it correctly :)

Damn, I feel so stupid for not recognizing that it's a warning only and the ID was changed and the Action was not blocked.... :(

Sorry guys.... :(
