i'm flying a timber x and the flaps are setup to go up and down so when i set on three way switch they go up and then completely down. how can i set them up so when up they are neutral, then mid switch half down then full down? i have messed with weights and offset but it just gets screwed up.
also on one of my jets i like to set the throttle trim up to low idle for flight and when i set throttle trim all the way up it doesn't activate the throttle, is there a way to adjust the subtrim?

Re: Flaps and subtrim
It is best to set the flaps mechanically to be neutral in the 'up' position of the switch.
It can be done with weights but you are then using 1/2 of the servo possible motion and thus putting a heavier load on the servos.
You do not say what firmware or transmitter you are using.
If you insist on doing it with weights, post your model as read by the PC and someone may be willing to help.
