I am attempting to flash my S6R to the latest EU version. Using the STK I ran the program 'frsky_update_sport_rev14.exe' on my Windows 10 PC with the drivers from the sfrsky website. The program opened in the center of the display distorted (i.e. the display was very small and the buttons and drop boxes overlayed each other.

I tried using the Windows 10 compatibility on the program but with no success. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

How did you install the update program? You probably need to copy the .exe file AND all the other files in the .zip to a new directory.
