Mix offsets the servo band

Post by NemisusDM »

Hi,
I haven't been able to find an answer or perhaps I'm asking the wrong question.

So I add a Flap to Elevator mix but, it doesn't "actually" add down elevator.
It seems to move the servo band by the mix amount and reduces the throw in one direction while hyper-extending the throw in the opposite direction .

Is there anyway to actually add "down elevator" as a mix and allow the elevator stick to have normal throws when moved?

Thanks,

You need to set up your limits and mechanical throws properly to allow for the added actions to still be in range.

I am not sure what you mean by "band". Maybe your mean range. Correct?
I am just a beginner, but I have managed to get flap to elevator compensation mix working ok.
Go into the mixes menu, the add another line with a percentage of the flap mix.
Something like this:

Oopps! I cannot find an option to post a screenshot!
Edit:
Got it.
