Taranis XD9 Plus and DM9 Spektrum module

I have the Taranis 9XD Plus. Just upgraded the firmware to 2.2.3. I have followed this video (thanks Painless360 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcYI9rV ... 3svqWx-pa1) to the T, yet cannot get the servo to respond to the TX command.
The receiver and the TX bind successfully.
I have the Spektrum DM9 module and the Spektrum AR7000 receiver.
The radio Internal Off, External RF PPM, CH1-8, 22.5ms, 300u - (negative).
The Inputs screen I only have Ail on CH01 100% Weight. Mixer screen CH1 100 Ail, OutPuts Screen CH1 Ail 0.0 -100.00 100.00 -> --- 1500.
Servo plugged into Thr on the Spektrum receiver and that is the first channel.
I have also tried moving the servo to all the other receiver outputs and still no response.
Do you have any ideas as to what I can do or am missing to get this to work?

By the way since upgrading to 2.2.3 I am unable to select an image for the aircraft in both the Companion2.2.3 interface and thru the TX menu.

I think the DM9 needed some weird PPM settings, like 350 or 400us for the pulse.

For the images update your SD card contents, the folder name has changed and is now IMAGES. Sounds have changed too.

Thanks Kilrah, I have tried changing the 300 to both 350 and 400.
I actually also changed the module as I have 2, the receiver bound, and the aileron servo worked fine.
I then rebound the receiver to a JR XP8103 to check if the original module still worked on the receiver. It did, but when I rebound the same receiver back to the Taranis with the module that previously worked it bound fine, but the servo does not respond.
Baffling indeed!!

Mine has been working well using 9ch, 22.5, 400, negative. Currently have 4 models flying using it.
