little help please
I am using a JR 11x xero radio with a FRsky DJT module and a FRsky X8R receiver ,but I do not have enough
channels, can I add another X8R receiver connected through a FRsky redundancy BUS, I have tried but can't
seem to get it to work. any help would be appreciated.
Tony.

Re: frsky receiver/bus
A DJT cannot transmit more than 8 channels.
An XJT could, but you first have to check that your radio can supply more than 8 in the PPM signal to the module.

Re: frsky receiver/bus
Will the 2 X8R receivers with a redundancy bus work with the XJT module and how many channels will I get . my JR radio will supply PPM9

Re: frsky receiver/bus
With an XJT and two X8Rs you can get 16 channels . But your JR can only deliver 9.
But in the above case it would not use redundancy bus.
One X8R and sbus to pwm converter you could get your 9 channels.
I have never used a redundancy bus,
But I have used an X4R and 3 SBus to PWM converters to prove that 15 channels work. But a use FrSky transmitters. AN X8R with Sbus to PWM converter could support 12 channels...but not with a 9 channel transmitter.

so if I use a XJT module with a X8R receiver and a Sbus-PPM-PWM converter I will get 9 channels with my JR 11x set on PPM9

Re: frsky receiver/bus
The question is a good one. Certainly the XJT can produce the 9 (or more) outputs.
The concerns are can the Jr really send 9 channels of PWM and can the XJT take in 9 channels.
I realize all my tests were done using serial input to the XJT from the transmitter.
PPM Transmitter to XJT may have different limitations.
Sorry I can't be of help on either of those questions.

Re: frsky receiver/bus
Yes it will work if that PPM9 is really 9 channels, the XJT takes up to 12CH through PPM. Note that on some radios channels above standard were on/off only instead of proportional, no idea about that radio.
