Hi,

Is there any advantages to update the bootloader?
What is the procedure to update?

Keeping the Bootloader at the same version as the tx is recommended by the OpenTx developers.
Mike B, the original author of the Bootloader believed he bootloader should be independent of the tx version. Philosophically I agree with Mike, practically I follow the OpenTx developers recommendation.
There is an occasional change and issue resolved.
The above is very direct non-answer of whether to upgrade or not

A procedure to upgrade is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbpHb2_RXbk

I don't know where you got that recommendation from.

I thought it was in the release notes, but maybe RcGroups. Maybe I'm mistaken. It's happened before.

Are you saying leave it alone?
If so why change the rev levels?

It just tells us which firmware that bootloader was packaged in. Most of the time there is no change, if there was an important one and upgrading bootloader was recommended it would be in the release notes.
