Taranis radio will not turn on

I was checking for new firmware and now the taranis X9D radio will not turn on ie: the screen is blank also if I try to switch on in the boot loader mode I get the same blank screen!

What, exactly, have you done to the Tx? Did you flash new firmware? If so, what did you flash and how (Bootloader or DFU)?

I was attempting to flash the firmware but I am not know what firmware it was ,I do believe that I was in the Bootloader mode.With the Taranis connected to my laptop which it a MacBook Air and I was running OpenTX Companion.

You may now need to flash the firmware using DFU mode. I'm not sure if the MAC can do this.
With the radio powered OFF, connect the USB, you should get a "DFU" device appear on the computer. Does this happen?
