Universal firmware for X8R Rxs

Which version of firmware listed in the X8R downloads is the Universal version as opposed to the EU version?

Download "X8R X6R FW20170210.zip". In that file are both versions. From their filenames it is clear (EU and NONEU) which is which.

Many thanks. Tried that but neither EU or non-EU will bind. My Tx is at 2.2 and still works fine with all my original Rxs but I've a nasty feeling that I've got to convert it to EU or non-EU and update all my old Rxs and there's a fair number.

One of the EU or non-EU firmware in the Rx should work. Have you tried different Rx Numbers on the Tx? I know there is a problem with the S8R (stabilising) Rx when using an early Taranis where only some Rx numbers work!
How old are your original receivers (and your Tx)? Maybe you need to try an old version of the X8R firmware in the Rx. I know I've still got a copy of the X8R firmware from July 2013!
