Backing up the Radio Firmware to SD card

Post by Malc »

I was reading the Taranis Plus user manual for Open TX 2,1.
On page 44 Backing up the Radio Firmware,Note:Many pilots place a copy of their firmware .bin file in the FIRMWARES folder of the SD card to guard against disaster when Companion is not available . My radio is a Taranis X9D and I am using Companion 2.1.9

You do not "back it up", you place a copy of the file you downloaded on there using your computer like the sentence says...
