Well they are the correct device and you do get 15 of them!

Got my eBay bat85 diodes today so I can do the mod as posted.
Lucked out. The dealer was in my area and they came out to $.50 each and 2 days to my door. No local parts houses had them in stock. Good enough and I have 15(-1) now for future mods.

MikeB, I used the method Kilrah suggested with my DJT, will I have the same issue using the module in a Taranis?

As I understand the mod, it is only sending 0 to 3.3V to the Taranis SPort. This is safe electrically. You won't get any telemetry data however as the SPort data needs to be inverted. At this point I believe the Taranis firmware doesn't support telemetry data from the DJT anyway.
This should not be a problem as you should be able to use the internal XJT with any D series receivers. You only need the DJT for older V series receivers that don't have telemetry anyway.
