Ok, its been awhile!
I have an XRPro,just started to look at upgrading to Er9xsoftware,swithched on, power to indicator light,but no screen illumination, can anyone point me at postings etc on here, i recall some several years ago but cannot find them!

I don't recognise the Tx you describe as "XR Pro", is this an X-lite?

ok, my error, missed the 9, its a
Tgy 9XR Pro
Hopefully I will get back to it either later today or tomorrow / or weekend!

Try starting in bootloader mode (power on holding the two horizontal trims towards the centre. See if the screen illuminates then, and if there is any text on the screen even if not illuminated.

tomorrow i will try a different sd card, if it works i'll reflash the system!

Try plugging the USB in when the power is off, then power on and see if anything is recognised over USB.
