Great to know that is normal to disconnect it when on.
At this very moment: Charger says 8,19v,
9xtreme said 8.1v (I might need to adjust it manually)
Polimeter in battery said 7,94v
Battery in place, charging, polimeter in mosfet, positive in center, negative in left leg it said 8,20
Battery in place, charging polimeter in mosfet, positive in right leg, negative in left leg, said 8,09v
I hope that brings you loads of info.
Charging port.

Re: Charging port.
You are measuring from the Gate, not between Drain and Source.
Please measure, with the meter, between the two pads of the original diode.

Re: Charging port.
Between the two pads of the original diode I got right now 0,04v when charging.
0,00 when not charging.
By the way, charger said battery is full now. (8.2v) radio said 8.3, and poli in battery said 8.07v
0,00 when not charging.

Re: Charging port.
0.04V looks good while charging.

Re: Charging port.
I think I have Mosfets on some of my radios charging circuit. Will try charging them with a B6 charger tomorrow. But I have NiMh batteries on my radios. I have never charged any Lithium battery inside a radio. I like my radios a lot

Re: Charging port.
Well, those li ions are super safe. I have never heard/seen anybody having problems with those 18650 packs, and they are everywhere, E-bikes, tesla cars, electric tools, lawn mowers...
If they were Lipo, then yes, are very dangerous, but those li ion are another story.
Anyway, yeah, keep us informed when you test it!.
So far it seems it works, but the only thing that worries me is the voltage difference.

Re: Charging port.
There should not be any voltage drop with a Mosfet..

Re: Charging port.
Hi, as a small update here, I must say everything works as it should. I am very happy, and yet again, I could have not done it without your help!
