Hi,
I made a wrong installation of latest SW OTX 2.3.4.
Now I can't start the TX. Only a crisp sound in the speaker.
I follow the instruction from Scott page, both in OTX University and on YouTube.
The problem is that the instructions seams to work with Windows 7.0, but I have Windows 10 and the Device Manager behaves very diffrently.
I can't find any information with this problem on Windows 10 and old Windows 7 is not supported from 14/1 2020.

Re: Bricked Taranis QX7S and Windows 10
Ok.
But in the Device Manager W10, I never see "Other devices" "Universal Serial Bus controllers" or "Universla Serial Bus devices"
and when I connect tx with USB cable (without battery) there is no reaction in Device Manager. It seams that PC doesn't react.
I have tried different cables and checked STM processor for ev. solder defects (I saw something about this in another thread)

Have you removed the battery?
If the battery is out and you don't get the connection sound then either it's the cable or there's an actual hardware problem on the radio.
What was the mistake you did in the first place?

Re: Bricked Taranis QX7S and Windows 10
I removed battery. I also tried to remove the mainboard battery.
As I remember it was when I installed the bootloader 2.3.4 with tx and maby still had the firmware 2.2.1 on the tx.
Is it enough to change the mainboard if it's a hardware problem?
And is QX7 board the same as QX7S board?
Thanks for your answers Kilrah.
