Hi guys, I have a friend that has a QX7, and he wants to fit a 6 pos switch on it
He got this switch: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3296852 ... b201603_53
But it seems the switch is bigger than the pot.
And it does not fit, because there is a PCB with with a jack.
What can he do? Is it safe to cut that PCB? If yes, where?
Thank you!

That PCB includes the RF module. Any modification is likely to upset the operation so I would say it is NOT safe to modify it in any way.
I've modified my QX7 to have a slider on the side (in addition to the existing pots). Maybe the 6-pos switch needs to go in the same place, see this post: https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopi ... en#p137584.
I'm using erskyTx, and I have an option in that to use the green LED signal as an extra analog input.

Thank you very much as always. I already gave your answers to my friend. I am sure that is what he needs.MikeB wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2019 3:57 pm That PCB includes the RF module. Any modification is likely to upset the operation so I would say it is NOT safe to modify it in any way.
