Replace my early X9D with an X9D+ or Horus X10?

Post by pmullen503 »

I'm replacing my reliable but beat up early X9D. I'm trying to decide whether to get a new X9D+ or a new X10. I'd like to hear from those who made the jump to the X10. How do you feel about it today? Was it worth the extra money?

Thanks!

I recently changed from an early X9D to an X10S

I really enjoyed the X9D and it worked flawless and still does, but I really liked the new design of the X10S. To be honest that's the best thing for me on the X10S.

Next to that I found that working with FrSky products in combination with the limitless possibilities of OpenTx is a very nice addition to the hobby for me and I wanted to start learning to create Lua scripts.

So if you only need a transmitter to fly your plane then a new X9D+ will offer you that with all the needed things.

But if you also want to have a transmitter that has the looks of an high end tool, and you want fancy full colour telemetry on your screen and very nice feeling sticks then the X10 would be my suggestion.
