9XR Pro failure to boot

Hi all
strange situation with my 9XR Pro tx, switching on get a quick flash of the model loaded, followed by blue screen with shutting down then blue screen with power off , if i shut down and reboot same situation, looking for ideas, suggestions, solutions etc
tomorrow i'll open it up and clean all plugs/sockets touch pads etc

I think you might have a bad power switch.
You need to open the radio and measure the switch..

Ok, opened the box up, some traces of 'mildew?' on the rocker pads, a little burning on the main switch, cleaned up with switch cleaner/lubricant, and the switch was given a dose of silicon grease - all working fine now, can only think there were traces of moisture in the box after its last active use!

The problem you have described points to a bad connection on one of the switch contacts, the one that detects that the radio is switched ON.
