Hello everyone...hope you are all having great. Flying days
I tried to find some information. By searching but came up empty handed, so here goes
Is there any way to link the throttle position to a sound file so I can know where my throttle position is without looking down at the radio.....example: trying to replicate landing speeds, I know I'm flying slow....but how slow. If the radio called out numbers as you moved up and down the range...you would know where your throttle was.....or scream warp speed.....or punch it chewie....
But I would love to know my throttle position, so I could accurately replicate maneuvers
Ok item 2
If the radio could limit travel on control surfaces based on speed, so my scream jet won't suffer structural failure due to my over taxing the airframe at 3 times safe Manu earring speeds
If all this has already been covered please direct me....I could not find any references, thank you
Have a nice day from Canada

Re: New member with some ideas
What TX are you using?
Re: New member with some ideas
Any tx with open source firmware can do that..
The second idea about decreasing control travel proportionally to speed increase is quite easy to do as long as you use the throttle stick as reference.. With a speed sensor things would get a bit more complicated.
I experimented something similar a while ago, which was decreasing the throttle to keep the battery voltage always above a certain value. I had mixed results because of the delay the telemetry data from when the voltage is sensed until the information reaches the radio. That leads to oscillations..
If you use the throttle stick as reference for speed then here is the er9x manual.
At the end there are some examples and a couple might be what you're looking for, or might give you some ideas..

For speaking the throttle value in er9x/ersly9x go to the Voice Alarms menu.
Set:
Source: Thr
Switch: Any switch you want to control the function
Rate: select the number of seconds between reports
Play Source: select before or after. In this case it doesn't matter..
this will play the position of the throttle stick every few seconds depending on what you've set.
It would be nice if it would play the percentage of throttle (-100% to 100%) instead of the digital value (-1024 to 1024)

If you have the taranis plus, then it comes with opentx.. the menus and options are different for the ones I described above. I use ersky9x. You need a manual for opentx.
