Can't Make Changes in Preferences

Post by G550Ted »

I'm running c9x v 1.33 and am unable to set/change the path for Personal Splash Library, Simulator Capture Folder, Custom TX Splash Screen, or SD Structure Path. Everything else seems to work OK. Any help is appreciated.

My Taranis is finally on the way, YAY! Any progress in sorting out the problems with the Preferences page?

Thanx.

Win XP SP3 32bit. I reloaded c9x v 1.33 just to make sure I didn't have an installation problem but there was no change to the issue.

Sorry for the stupid question.
Are you closing the preference window by pressing the OK button ?

Yes, but saving changes is not the problem. I can highlight the Personal Splash Library field but can't type anything into the field. Same with the Custom TX Splash Screen field. Although I understand it is not used for Taranis, if I change or delete what is in the eEprom backup folder field it returns after I close and then re-open the Preferences box. I also can't do anything in the SD Structure Path field.

Ted, if I read correctly, you say you are trying to type in the field? Use the Open Folder button and then choose a folder on your drive. That should work.

I'm sure that would work if I had an applicable folder to access, but mostly right now I am trying to delete some spurious entries that are in most of the fields and so far am unable to do that.

Thanx,

I see what you mean. I can't manually make changes to those fields or clear them either. I don't recall trying in earlier versions of C9x.
