I have been running my Taranis X9D+ on OTx v 2.2.4 for some time in the belief that updating to 2.3.xx would make all my V8 receivers redundant and that I would have to rebind all my models.

I'm told this is incorrect and that in fact I need to update to OTx v 2.3.xx to get Ch 1-4 (PWM) on the R-X4R to respond to Ch 9-12 from the Tx.

My question is: which version of OTx 2.3.?? should I update to?? The very latest v 2.3.13? or a previous version.

Sorted by updating my Taranis to OTx 2.3.13 including the SD card data.

Despite the R-X4R instructions indicating that anything above OTx 2.2 was OK the receiver would not operate wit 2.2.4 on the Taranis.

With 2.3.13 the bind was immediate and no further action was needed, PWM output from the servo pins was there straight away.
