tx companion on ubuntu

I need to install tx companion 2.3.9 on my computer. I have the .deb file, but it requires dependencies which the installation cannot fulfill. It looks like the requirements are version numbers beyond the most recent available(?). I have a radiomaster tx16s radio and want to setup tx companion to connect to that radio. Any thoughts?

Too old, need to update the distro to 19 at least.
