Hi everyone, hope someone call help, I've managed to make a bit of a mess of my Taranis.
I'm using a Taranis X9D+ which has all worked fine until my PC died.
Now I am back up and running, I installed OpenTX on my new PC today, 2.3.7
I think I managed to do a backup before it all went wrong...
It seemed to suggest I needed a firmware update, which I think I did, but it seems now to not like my model profiles etc.
When you turn the TX on now I get "SD Card warning, expected version 2.3V0026"
Also the voice message "welcome to openTX" does not seem to play.
I can download my models to the PC, but if I try to send the changes back to my TX I get error.
Cannnot open model Baron
-OpenTx on this board does not accept this function

Baron is the name of my first model.
Any help appreciated.
Mike
Other info that my help.
Taranis Bootloader 2.1.6
I think I've been an idiot, please help

Your SD card needs to be updated with sdcard-212x64-2.3V0026.zip from
https://downloads.open-tx.org/2.3/relea ... tx-x9d%2B/
What version of OpenTx did you have before the update?

Thankyou so much for the help.
I haven't had time yet to try out the models, but it has cured the SD error message and on first glance seems to be doing what I expected.

Models may still need work.
If you started with OpenTX version that was 2 or 3 versions older than 2.3.7.
The conversion process provided is good, but generally speaking it is only really reliable to upgrade one step at a time.
The format of the model data is stored in generally is changed each time x is changed in the OpenTx w.x.y version number changes.
X to x+1 works quite good, x to x+2 or x+3 is very questionable.
Even going x to x+1 you should thoroughly check the model out.
Did you let the transmitter make the conversion or did you do it in Companion?
