Is this receiver compatible with the Irangex multi-module?

Post by Rad »

Hi guys, mi wife told me I am getting my first rc plane for my birthday and I am super afraid of crashing it. I have read a lot about gyros and definitelly I am going to need one.

I have seen 2in1 gyro and receiver:

Before I buy it, does it work with the Irangex multiprotocol module?
I am not sure. According to https://github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Mul ... Details.md
I think it can work, either selecting:
Corona 37 COR_V1 COR_V2 FD_V3
or
SFHSS 21 SFHSS

Am I right?

Anyway, it is called "corona", LOL. Fun ordering something with that name nowadays.

Thanks!

In my opinion you won't need gyros, you need someone to teach you how to fly.
You do it alone, with or without gyros, you will crash it at best, or injure someone, yourself, or damage some property at worse.
Get an RC simulator for your computer.
But the most important is as I mentioned above, find someone to teach you. Get in a club for example and ask for help.

I'd love to have people for sharing my hobby, but after 6 years searching for people non stop, I just give up.
If I was still living in Madrid, that would not be a problem, but here it seems to be absolutely impossible, so I am afraid I have to do everything on my own. :''''''(

I have some experience with RC simulators, but I am still afraid of crashing. In forums, everybody recommended me to use gyros and it seems it will help me a lot.

I am not afraid to damage anybody, there are kilometers and kilometers with not even one soul here, so it should be fine. :)

The problem is that a gyro is not magic, it needs to be set up, and you need to be able to fly before you can set it up...

Gyros help in windy conditions for example.. But if misused they can crash your model for you :)
As Kilrah said, you need to know how to fly before you configure them.
