Cannot save OpenTX 2.2.4 for Taranis X9D+

I am running Companion 2.1 on my laptop running Win7 SP1 and OTx 2.1.9 on my Taranis X9D+

I have downloaded and installed Companion 2.2 which asks if I want to update my OpenTx for the Taranis. I click "Yes" the download/save window opens, I select the save folder and hit OK and get a "Compilation Error" message and the .bin file does not save (??)

What's my problem please? Do I need this .bin file or is it only necessary to download the SD card file and transfer this to my Taranis SD card?

What's the name of the firmware file you're trying to download?

It is: opentx-x9d+-2.2.4.bin

The version of Companion seems to be: "Opentx-taranisplus-timer3-lua-en"

.... according to the download dialogue box.

Go in companion settings, change the radio type to something else and set it back to x9d+, then OK and try again.
