Can’t flash OpenTX onto Turnigy 9x. Help....

Post by Jonfly3d »

I am having trouble installing open tx on my Turnigy 9x. When I try to read the radio on companion 2.1, i get the message,

device signature = Oxle9702
Expected signature for ATMEGA64 is 9602.

How do I fix this?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Your radio has a ATMEGA128, so just select that.

Thanks mike! I got past that part.

When I went to flash OpenTX onto it, everything looked normal and then it finished. When I turned on the radio, it still had the original Turnigy firmwear on it. So I tried it again but this time I noticed it said that it was reading the firmware and completed without saying it was writing the firmware. Then I tried to read the firmware and it gave me a eeprom invalid error.

What am I doing wrong? (I’m a complete noob at flashing raidios and OpenTX)

Thanks
