Okay smart people,
What's the correct set-up for triggering flaps up / down sounds when using RS as the input, for example RS up = play Flaps up and RS lower than all the way up = play Flaps down (Probably needs a threshold say 25% travel down)
I'm assuming this needs a custom switch set-up and Custom function to play the track, I'm just not clever enough to work out how to do it!

Re: Flaps Up / Down sound from slider
If you want RS proportional between 0 and 100%, then just use RS as the source. If you want to use RS like a switch, I would set up a curve with 5 points with your up and down positions at points 1-2, and 3-5 respectively. That way, the only place the control is proportional is between 40-60% of travel.
Then set up two Custom Switches: a<x for down and a>x for up, where V1 is RS and V2 can equal 0 (or where ever you want as the Flapsup, Flapsdn trigger point.)
Set up two Custom Functions to play the sounds: CF1=CS1, play track, Flapsup and CF2=CS2, play track, Flapsdn
