I left a place to add your name on the Extra Version.
The .BMP files are in the .zip
Thanks for all your great work on images and your videos. I used your Extra Version, added my name with Irfanview. Loaded into Companion9x and it showed up just perfect. Now just need the Tx.
John
What font did you use in Irfanview?
I found the best fit was Arial 10. It works the best to draw the box in the lower right corner and then keep changing the size to get it to fit. See help button for drawing the box.

New Splash screen. This was from a photo my wife took of my maiden flight earlier today. It's an extra 330SC.

Thanks. I took some liberty with yours and added a bit of polish and cropping. Hope you don't mind.

I like the idea - but Disney and Pixar would have cease and desist orders toot sweet if I distributed their intellectual property without license.

I had a nasty go with another big name studio once in the past. Once burned -- twice shy.

I went to a flyin last week, a week ago exactly, sigh I'm at work. Anyways I showed off my new Taranis. The people heard the lovely ATT girl greeting me when I turned it on and I showed them my flash screen. They also saw me sitting cross legged trying to figure my Gassers throttle out, ugghhh. Got that working.
The cool part was that when I was packing Saturday night and they were having a group session out on the driveway on the other side of the garage doors, they were talking about my new transmitter and the splash screen and the talking (they started with the transmitter talking all the time). One of them said "Did ya see that he's got his picture up on it when he starts AND he's pictures of his planes when they're up operating?" "Yea, what a jerk", "Yea, wish mine did that" "Yah, it'd be sweet".

Hope they get a couple more shipments in pretty soon. My buddies spectrm lost it's antenae and he lost the plane. Dang cable came right out the back of the module. He's not in the market for a new transmitter right now, but he was thinking about that exposed loop I tell ya,.

Here are my humble contributions to the growing base of model icons.
The first is an image of the funbat. A plane that resembles nothing else.
The second image is a picture of the Taranis radio. I use this in a model I use to connect to another radio in a trainer/master setup.

Hello, I'm wondering what s/w you guys are using to do your own art work. I read that it should be a 64x32 4-bit BMP file, so converted a picture of a Tricopter, but the file size Photoshop generates is 50k instead of 1 or 2k... which sounds very wrong. Any advice (I'm on a mac if it makes a difference).

I used Gimp to create 64 x 32 gray scale pictures. I would have used Photoshop, but did not have it on the computer I used. After saving as a true color bmp file, I opened it in Windows Paint. This program can save 16 color bmp files, which will reduce the gray colors to black, dark gray, light gray and white. Saving the file produces a file less than 2k.
I am sure there are other alternatives, but this worked for me.

Edit: When I did the doublecheck on my Taranis I've seen that a the previously uploaded pictures needed a bit more contrast, therefore I did some rework and uploaded a new zip-file.

You are on a roll! Keep up the good work.

Do you take requests...or Scott when he is feeling better?

Two Txs hooked like PC to Tx. One a little higher than other, I'm thinking of a buddy-box cartoon BMP.
