X9E transmitter resets on upgrade to 2.3.7

Hi I Upgraded my X9E to 2.3.7 (opentx-x9e-lua-noheli-sqt5font-en-2.3.7.bin) . I can access the first radio setup page (Long press Menu) but if I then press the page button to access the other setup pages the radio resets to the Model page.
How do I flash back to 2.3.6? I have never had to revert before. I've installed companion 2.3.6 but it wants to download the 2.3.7 firmware ?

I cannot replicate on my X9E. Could you : long menu, then long page, it should get you to version screen and take a picture and post it here ?

Hi I've attached the pic you requested . after the radio resets there is a icon in the upper right corner of the screen SD card error is it sd card error?. I have checked the sd card for errors and re flashed the radio still the same problem

Can you post your eeprom? Ideally use "backup eeprom" on the hardware page, zip and attach the file found in the EEPROM folder

How can I get to the setup hardware page ? When I press Page on setup page 1 the radio resets.
I tried with no sd card and the radio reports "no tools" and then resets when I press Page

Hi just worked it out long press on setup page one then long press again . date incorrect as since upgrade RTC error on start up

After long press Menu to get to the radio setup page one, then I long press to get to the version page. I can then long press to step back through the setup pages until I try to access page 2 when the radio resets.

Hi just checked my RTC battery its 186mv and radio thinks in 1970 .Could this be causing a problem ? with file dates being in the "future" .The radio setup page I can not access is the file listing page I have a battery on order but can't go to shops due to lock down.

Unrelated. Your rtf bat is flat, but this does not create the issue you are experiencing. Have you tried the nighlies?

Not able to reproduce even with your EEPROM and the samr firmware variant.

Can you backup your SD contents to a folder on your computer, format the SD and copy the files back?

Hi, I will try nightlies ,The problem is still there with no sd card inserted , but will reformat SD card anyway.
How do i download nightlies?

Download and install the latest companion nightly, launch it, go to settings, set to nightly release channel, download firmware.

But before that, have you tried if it did it on all models or only some? If only some, which ones?

nightly 2.3.8N176 (82660985) works ok. with or with out SD card. I will revert to 2.3.7 and try other models

I reverted to 2.3.7 . I tried various models one newly madeon 2.3.7 all reset trying to access setup page 2

No need, as you tested yourself, it works with nightlies. It has been fixed on 01/04, and will be included in next release?
