I have used a futaba TM7 module in the back of my Horus X12s radio in order to use the many FASST receivers I have. I used the latest Flytron adaptor board to mount the tm7 module. There are a number of posts on the suggested frame rate settings and I believe I have tried all of the combinations. The receivers bind OK but the range is not anywhere good enough to use in an aircraft two or three hundred meters max. When the TM7 is put back in my Futaba trasmitter range is out of sight. I cannot understand what the problem can be, the Horus only has to send the correct PPM signals to the module and as the receivers work OK except for range presumably the PPM is OK. The only other variables are the frame rate and also the power that the horus is giving to the TM7 module. Any ideas would be appreciated.
