Can you and TH% with a switch?

Post by FPVJumper »

After searching, I'm skeptical that this is possible, but thought I would ask anyway. I have set Timer 1 to be based on TH%. But sometimes, I disarm and forget to bring throttle down to 0. I would like for my disarm switch to pause the timer even if throttle is at 100%. Currently running Open TX 2.1.9 on a Taranis X9D Plus.

I don't use openTX but was just trying to do that in Companion 2.1, and I couldn't :o Sorry.. :(

In Ersky9x it is very easy to do.. I am sure it might be possible also on openTX. Perhaps there is some option that I didn't see..

You jsut choose your throttle channel as Throttle Source.

Unfortunately, that did not seem to work. Timer still counted down regardless of the disarm switch when I changed Throttle source to CH3.

How are you doing the disarm? If you are using "override channel" use a replace mix of MAX weight (-100) in your throttle channel instead.

I am setting CH5 to disarm. But adding special function to also override CH3 to -100 and setting CH3 as the Throttle source works like a champ.

Thank you jtaylor and Kilrah.
