João: I assume you mean printing, not displaying!
Peter M: Yes, please do post problems.

What I meant above was that there were other issues that required much more attention than printing.. Issues that affect the functionality of eepskye and Ersky9x. I remember seeing this problem before, but I didn't report it because at the time Mike was trying to solve some other problem that was much more important. Then I just forgot.. :)
I didn't mean to say that it shouldn't be fixed, but if there are other problems to be solved, I believe this wouldn't be at the top of the list ;) :)
My 2 cents of course ;)

Yes, the logical switch problem I reported above is when we open the printing screen..

Thanks

Mike, what about if we could also program the voice in eepskye and actually hear on the PC what we are programming? That would need a "Voice" folder somewhere, probably in the eepe directory? This could of course be extended to eepe..
Thanks

I made a bit of a start to this some time ago. When you run the simulator, you should see the word "WELCOME" appear on the "BEEP" button. This is actually the filename of a voice file. I did have the PC playing that one voice file, but found it too much every time I ran the simulator!

I think that at least the VA's could be simulated.. probably we could create some simulated telemetry events so we could also program alarms.. Just an idea of course..

Mike, eepskye.

logical switches:

L2 v=val Gvr1 3 Delay 1,3

It doesn't seem to delay. the switch seems to turn ON as soon as the condition is met

it is possible that you fixed this and I have an older version of eepskye? It says r422 from 18th Feb

Thanks

I included an eepskye in the r222 a8 test vesion, try that one as it seems to delay OK for me.

There seems to be a random problem with a logical switch set to timer with an AND switch. Sometimes, either the ON time or the OFF time gets cut short.I don't think this will be quick to find as the code is the same as that on the radio, but is driven by a Windows timer not a hardware timer. I can't use DEBUG mode as this is running in real time!

Hi Mike,
Problem after Upgrading my Win-7 decktop with eepSkye Rev. Feb 18 2018 (http://www.er9x.com/).
Having trouble with the Editing Model Window being squished up
and not able to read. :(
When I grab on it to pull it bigger, it will not move.
It is staying squished up. :(
eepSkye Rev. Feb 18 2018 <br />Editing Model Window is squished up all the time.
eepSkye Rev. Feb 18 2018
Editing Model Window is squished up all the time.

I then downloaded TEST eepSkye Rev. p423 March 18 2018 (https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopi ... =91&t=2835)
and used it to replace eepSkye Rev. Feb 18 2018 with same results. :(

TEST eepSkye Rev. p423 March 18 2018
Editing Model Window is squished up all the time.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I do have a new Lenovo laptop Win-10 and installed eepSkye Rev. Feb 18 2018
and it is working properly. :)

Also on my Win-7 decktop with eepe Rev. 422, Feb 18 2018 is working properly too. :D
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there something I am doing incorrectly with (eepSkye) my Win 7 op ? :?:

There is trouble with this version too. :(
Rev. 402, May 12, 2014
Rev. 402, May 12, 2014

But is a little better, as I can make it longer, but not larger up and down.
And some of the windows are not the correct size in some of the tab windows too. :(
And I think some stuff may be missing too (2014 version).

The older eepSkye Version 421, Nov. 21, 2016 is better, but has some things squished together also too.
Rev. 421, Nov. 21, 2016
Rev. 421, Nov. 21, 2016

For now, I can use this version with my Win-7 (64 bit) desktop computer. :)

The newer versions do not work with my Win-7 (64 bit) desktop computer.

They got removed in R221. Initially they were used to set alarms in a DJT/DHT module. Later, the firmware handled them. When I added Voice Alerts, which allow beeps as well, these very specific alarms became unnecessary. I left them in for quite some time, but decided to remove them in R221.

I'm not sure about your window resolution problem, I've not seen that before. May just be a Windows setting. I came across a setting that caused the FrSky SxR configuration application to display incorrectly at some point.

Oh yes you did  ;)
Remember a few years ago I said that eepskye didn't fit and it didn't adjust to my notebook's display?

Well, that notebook is on linux (Lubuntu) only now. I can try to install eepskye and see what happens.

The newer test Rev. p423 March 18 2018 and Rev. Feb 18 2018 have a bigger problem
then the older eepSkye Rev. 421, Nov. 21, 2016 does with Win 7.

Win-7 64 bit, Monitor Screen Resolution: 3840 x 2160
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Win 10 is working properly.

Mike, I cannot edit a switch used in a mix. The dropdown list box is not populated. This is version P423 dated 26/01/2019.

Which radio? The switches dropdown is populated differently for different radios.
Mine is OK on SKY, 9Xtreme and QX7 I just tested (although I built mine a few days later). I'll check the version you have later today.

That version did have a problem with some radio types. I've just posted an updated version (for windows) that doesn't have the problem.

It seems the editing window may appear "squashed" at times due to the (default) screen font. I'm looking into that.

So the problem may not be the monitor screen
resolution, but the (default) screen font.
Thank you Mike for looking into this !

That fixed the problem, thanks once again for the quick response. In future I will remember to give you the additional detail about the radio.

I've posted a test version where I'm allowing the window to be sized larger and that also puts in scroll bars if things don't fit. Please try this (but keep your existing version in case you need to revert) and see if it avoids the "squashed" display.

I am having trouble finding the eepSkye test version Feb 22, 2019 (for windows).
I believe it should (may) be posted on the first posting of this string (eepSkye), is this correct ? :?:

Suggestion: May need a note on the first posting (this string), directing where find "eepSkye test versions"

Thank you Mike, I will try this new test version soon. :)
