I've updated the source files, and I'm getting someone else to build versions for the MAC. I have to remember to keep the "stamp" files unchanged, I forgot the last time I updated the sources with a few small fixes for the MAC.

Mike, would it be possible for the installer to place both eepe and eepskye icons on the desktop?
Some people might not know how to get to the installation folder..
And I'm lazy as well

Mike, regarding the eepskye window size problem. copied the file you just posted on the first post to the eepe instalation folrder, and now if I really move the sim window up, I can see all the channels. But the blue bar on the top nearly disappears.. well, half of it..

I've never liked that version of the windows display, too much space wasted in the titlae bar. I personally still use the 'Classic' display, even on windows7.

You might try changing your display settings. Two items worth looking at are:
Active Window Border, reduce it from standard, I use 1.
Active Title Bar, reduce that from the standard setting.
You should get more of the real window showing then.

I'll continue to try to shorten the display.

I can try that.. turning the computer on.. But I think eepe/skye should adapt itself to the screen like all the other programs do :)

There is just so much to display. 600 vertical resolution is just a bit tight to get it all in!
I don't think allowing a scroll bar down the right is useful either.

I'll see if Qt can do anything for smaller displays!

Active Window Border was already 1.
Active Title Bar was 25 and I reduced it to the minimum. 20
it's a little better on the sim. the editor window still doesn't fit. the simulate button at the bottom doesn't show up.
I think you might have a bug there, and this one is there since day 1 :D

Mike, eepSkye 27 June for Taranis is now working properly with the custom switches. Now that it is working with Taranis I moved my Taranis models over to the Sky9x transmitter and have found a problem. The source in mixes is moved one selection off if the source is greater than P3. If the source is FULL on the Taranis than it changes to HALF on the Sky9x. Most likely due to the Sliders. 3 pots on the Sky9x and 2 pots and 2 sliders on the Taranis. The same problem also shows up in the Switches in the V1 column and the AND Switch column.

That was always going to be a bit of a problem.
I may need to do some specific mapping to get round that, something I already do for the switches.
I'll check on the custom switches, I thought I might have got them sorted with the mapping I'm doing.

Hi Mike,

in the latest version of eepskye (rev 402, Sept 13 2014) the values and sources for GVARs
and also the parameters for the scalers are not read correctly from the 9XR-Pro.

I think it's related to the new switches to enable/disable rotary encoder as source for GVARs
that are currently not handled by eepskye.

On this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4676, I've just posted a test version of eepskye that supports the GVAR switches. It seemd to read both my SKY board and 9XR-PRO OK.

Thank you Mike for the prompt fix.

I found a minor issue in mixer menu.
When selecting SWCH as source, THIS is displayed (see attachment).
The function itself seems to work correctly.

A funny thing:
When starting eepskye with a new empty file and trying to assign a backlight switch you can see switches named according to the Pro.
When reading back data from the Pro, the switches are named according to the Taranis (THR comes back as SF).

Left: What is written to TX ......... Right:What is read from the TX

Compiled in debug mode to investigate the backlight switch setting, all worked correctly then! Compiled back in release mode and it still works correctly!
I'll post an update with the SWCH name corrected and this re-compile and see if the problem has "gone away".
I'm usually compiling the windows version from within QTCreator, and I have found that sometimes QTCreator doesn't re-compile files when it should. I'll do a force rebuild of everything before I post it.

Hi Mike,

I found an issue of which I think it's not related to eepskye but to the place where the firmwares are stored in the infinite depths of webspace ...

When I want to download the last released firmware for the pro (r212) with the last posted eepskye (Rev 402, Sep 15 2014), it downloads r204.

Bother, I've done it again. I committed all the sources, but not the .bin files. THis was deliberate. What I forgot was I committed the "stamp" file that indicates a new revision is available!

Mike, eepskye doesn't seem to be saving the eeproms as .eepe. Is this meant to be like this?
It saves .bin and the models in .eepm.

Thanks

Hi Mike,

played a little with the new test version of eepskye:

Seems that the new expo feature (curve) in the mixer is not there
and when I check "Disable Expo/DR" the label for "Offset" changes to "FmTrimVal".

But instead there are 24 curves selectable. Seems to be so at least since Nov '13 (the oldest version I found on my PC)

Everything seems to be working.. The offset and the disable Expo/DR, so i guess it is just a little cosmetic problem :)
