Openx Sensor + Frsky FSD

Post by GRacing »

Hello Everyone, i hope that someone can help me overhere.....

I'm proud to say that i already built 5 Openx Sensor! :)
It's an outstanding working piece.

Let's go to the issue...

I fly helicopters, planes , gliders and rc boats, and have one in each one.

I never got used to use a stick radio in the rc boat, i prefer a pistol radio.
In oder to get telemetry, since i'm using a multiprotocol module in my futaba 3 PKS i acquired an Frsky FSD dash board.
I get vario data aand some other info provided by the receiver module!

The problem is that when i use mine edge tx i'm able to discover all the id of the sensors, but in the Frsky dashboard i only get some, but other ones are lacking.
I believe that the Frsky dash expect the correct id for displaying it correctly!
I can't see individual cell voltages neither GPS data...

From the manual :

Gps isn' working, but i don't know if it's because the update rate is 10Hz, and the dash only accept 1Hz... i will check!

Could you help me in the advanced and basic config file in order to get it working?

Was i naive expecting that the Frsky FSD could decode the data sent from the Open X sensor?

All works good with the Jumper T16..

Thank you in advance for all your help!

Best Regards

It's just that the FSD only supports what's on that list and that doesn't include cell voltage, GPS etc...

Hello Kilrah

If you open pic 1, you will see that it shows also individual voltage cells (VLFS), the total of the cells and GPS too!
