OpenXSensor and DR4-II

Quite a few years ago I built up a Vario with the MS5611 and Pro Mini arduino which worked fine -it sat on the shelf unused for a while as I bought the FRSKY RX with the built in vario.
So as I got hold of a Wot4-E i thought about getting the current sensor added to the Arduino - I checked that the vario still worked and then soldered on the current sensor. Without changing the software I did not get a new current sensor when I 'discovered new sensors' although the vario was still there.
Then I tried reprogramming the Arduino( which did program OK ) but now the vario sensor has gone.
What settings in Basic.h and Advanced.h should I use with the DR4-II?

I think I have sussed it- forgot to change the FTDI232programmer to 5v from 3.3v
