Frsky to Mlink telemetry converter

I'm using an old Multiplex Evo 9 with an Frsky hack module for 2 reasons. 1 - I prefer the ergonomics of the Evo to my Taranis, and 2 - I have a lot of Frsky receivers, which are much cheaper than Multiplex.

Question - is it possible to see the Frsky telemetry on the Evo screen? I'm reasonably competent at soldering, and have used Teensies and Arduino Pro minis.

I think I found this once, but no amout of Google can help now.
