So I built a openxvario (works great) and wired a ACS712 current sensor to it . My question is do I just hook the +red into the ACS712 lugs from the 3s battery or do I use red and black..Seems to me only red because of ground loop ..Any help will be appreciated

THANKS
Allen

I'm using a x8r receiver with latest fw on 9xr pro

Have a look here

He is using an ACS 758, but ACS 712 should be wired in the same way.

If.you.connect red and black to the sensor, you don't get a ground loop, you get a short citcuit and lots of smoke, and probably fire as well :) ;)

Just the positive passes through the current sensor.

Thanks so much for your help . I actually built it last night the right way . I was just confused by some of the pics out there but then I realized what I needed to do . So no smoke yet ( Yet is the key word ) . Thanks again for your help
