Inspect your SD card, are there sound files present?

FrskyOS does not use the same sound packs and paths as OpenTX as far as I know.

Folders are different, I believe the sounds you want accessible there must be in the "Track" subfolder.

I'm not really up to speed on FrSky OS, but I believe you should have a SOUNDS\en\Track folder on the internal flash drive.

You are right on that just found tried copy amber over to it but internal flash drive is not big enough to take all the sound
I copied a few over as a test and it worked
I will try later and see how many I can copy over as I only fly helicopter and quads I only need so many sound files

Couldn't the voice files not be place on a SD Card? doesn't the radio have a slot for a card??

If not then that would be stupid, specially if the internal memory can't handle the needed voice files :(

Yes as far as I know the SD card is also read, just second in priority with regard to the internal flash.
I.e. the radio will look for a file first on the internal memory, then on the card.

So, one could put the system files in the internal memory, and user files in the card.. maybe not a bad idea if there is enough space... But it seems that the radio ships with voice inop? No files?

Yes all "system" voices work, there just are no generic "user" files provided for you to use, you've got to supply those.

I would like to know how to use the SD card to store sound files. I have tried using the card with no luck at all. If I am understanding correctly one of the posters here did use the SD card to store sound files to use. Makes perfect sense to store the files externally the internal storage is limited.
