X10S issues

I get many warnings on my x10s, sdcard version incorrect, throttle warning, and it goes onto 'emergency warning' where the screen goes black with the switch going to red. One switch also triggers the warnings. I'm on 2.2.4.
The sdcard has been changed, the formatting checked and the contents redownloaded from the 'downloads page' with no change.
I can get some vario but no sounds, they are on the cards and in the correct place. The throttle is not even in use on some of my gliders, I use the stick for airbrake and the throttle is S1 with a failsafe on a switch.
Help!
