Invalid EEPROM file???

Post by jaeno »

Hi,

I have a 9xr (with M128 chip) for more than 2 years now.
I wanted upgrade FW to OpenTX. I'm a newbie here (I wanted get more models and option to save models on my PC).

FW download went well but I'm having problems Read Models And Settings from Radio. When I click on the button I've got massage like:
Invalid EEPROM file.
Could anyone help me what could be wrong?

Were you upgrading from the stock firmware?
The error message says "Eeprom is not from Gruvin9X", what do you have in settings for the "Radio Type"?

Everything works in
companion 2.0.17 and also in 2.1.9
I just have installed them both, don't know which one I'll be using...

the problem seems to be related to
