AR9x board and ERSKY9x FW ... elevator trim reversed !

Can anyone help as to how to fix my reversed ELEVATOR TRIM ?

I cannot find any command menu to correct the Elevator trim acting reversed.

Before fitting AR9x and flashing ersky9x - all was fine.

HELP !!

What file did you flash to the radio, for the AR9X board you need "ersky9x_rom.bin".
Have you set the AR9X setting in the Hardware menu?
When you move the elevator stick, does the small circle on the display move in the same direction?
To access the Hardware menu, power on holding the left horizontal trim to the left.

I have version : ersky9x-r218 .... flashed with ersky9x

I did not make mistake of using ersky9xr ..

Second ... holding left horizontal trim and powering on does nothing except bring me to normal start up.

The trim reversed - having checked various threads etc. - show both RUDDER and ELEVATOR trims reversed ... which on checking my 9x is same situation.

Sticks work correctly ... Rudder stick left - rudder goes left, Elevator stick pull back - elevator goes up. But the trims are opposite.

Some posts talk about trim 'boards' config on the Sky and ar9x boards as wrongly configured and they swapped the trim boards round 180 deg. Seems a daft error considering how good the ar9x board is etc.

Strange .... just connected to PC and reloaded SAME ersky9x FW as before ... now all is OK ...

Nigel, to enable the "Hardware" menu turn the radio ON while holding the left horizontal trim to the left for a second, and then release it. The radio WILL START NORMALLY, but now you can enter the hardware menu as it is enabled. Please go to Radio Setup / Hardware..

EDIT: The Skyboard and the Ar9x board use the same firmware file, but there are a couple differences between the 2. Therefore you have to go to the "Hardware" menu and enable the Ar9x board in there, so the firmware knows which board is installed in the radio.
