Nice.. On mine, I have eliminated the stock PCB antenna and soldered a Dipole antenna. I had very good range, more than 20 meters at the field, between my pro and another radio with a BT and a frsky rx antenna

but sometimes would interfere with the telemetry. So, I downgraded my BT dongle to a normal frsky rx antenna. And that is what I use on my radios now. Only one still has a dipole. I might keep it that way and use it only as the student radio
I still didn't get to install push buttons on my pro.. there are other mods I also want to do to it.. I did install 4 push buttons on the back of 2 of my 9x radios. One with 9xtreme board, and the other with an Ar9x board.. See picture.
Another mod that will be done is actually a little project of mine that I have been testing since a few weeks now, and it will be installed on all my radios, except the 9xtreme that already has it.
It is an RF module soft power switch, so we can easily turn both modules (internal and external) ON or OFF, depending on the active model. This is particularly useful if you use multi modules

Mike of course implemented OFF settings for both PPM1 and PPM2. Thank you so much for that as it made this possible..
Will post details in a near future. Here is the project thread
