ersky9x was a port of er9x for use on the sky9x board.

If I do the $8 Li-Ion battery Modification to my 9x with the ersky9x board will I have to add the 8.2K ohm resistor to cpu? :?

No, the mod is for the stock system. It tricks the stock software into thinking the voltage is higher so the low battery alarm doesn't go off all the time. With the sky9x board and software you can set the battery warning voltage to whatever you want.
