erskyTx runs on many radios and upgrade boards
ersky9x was a port of er9x for use on the sky9x board.

erskyTX on Taranis Plus??

Post by boowho »

Found ErSkyTX for Taranis Plus on DL page.

Tried to flash it onto my Plus thru Companion 2.2.3. Looked like it was working then said DONE!!

However, a reboot of the radio gave me the original OpenTX (flash didn't "take").

I assume I did something wrong??

I now have erskyTX and it's bootloader flashed to my Taranis Plus.

I can enter maintenance mode and select "update module"

Is this the internal module or an external module, for example IRangeX 4 in 1.

Mike B...... If anyone knows the answer it should be you.

Thanks

Please check what other options you have.
What version is displayed on the Version menu?
In maintenance mode you should see:
Update Bootloader
Update Int. XJT
Update Ext. SPort
Change SPort ID
Update XMEGA
Update Multi

Update Int. XJT is the internal module
Update Multi is a multi module in the external bay.

Bootloader : OTX 2.2.3

Firmware : er9xd-r221

Select update multi from maintenance menu and selected Multi-STM_TXFLASH_INV-v1.2.1.39.bin
get flash failed.

The modules own bootloader has never been installed on the IrangeX 4 in 1. Bangood yellow knob model. version 1.3 board

If/when I ever get the module flashed, I plan to re-install OpenTX.

To flash from the radio, you do need to have the bootloader installed on the module.
Does the module have a USB socket on it?

Yes it does. I've order the items I need to flash a bootloader to the module.

Thank you, Mike.
