Did you get the board that is in that picture? :o That is not a MegaSound board, I'm sorry.. That is the old design that used the emartee module, and the blue module in there is not even the one we used. Can you post a link to what you bought??

The board does have its own regulators, so should be OK. If the backlight is working, from the sound board, then your connections are likely to be OK.
Most likely is the SD card you are using, don't use one that is more than 2GB capacity.

yeah, connecting the power at the switch won't cook it, and as Mike said, if the backlight is working that means the connections are ok.. Changing the SD Card is also my bet.. Which Sound Pack are you using?
Try the one attached to the post on this link.

Hello. If I don't mistake, there are pads on the other side of the main board, that connected to the needed LCD lines. In my radio it now under the black foam (for backlight). If someone can do it - check it.

You operate the simulator port?
We do not go after the conversion (but I think do not the sound card because instead of FW)!

BP port = Beeper transistor Base pin in TX main board.

Seems we misunderstood, I would like to leave haptic mod if possible, and I have cut trace going to transistor for beeper signal. Is it possible to have haptic and voice mod?

Yes! Where the original sound comes out in Haptic mode? You need to connect to the BP port!

Hello, frends.
Do anyone use LTMNO's .bat file for flashing voice module?
There is avrdude's .conf file in archive. And chip signatures for '328 and '328P are not the same as in datasheet, isn't it?

Hi,

I'm enjoying my new voice spoken tgy 9x, but wanted to expand voice library. Do anybody have any suggestion for female speech synthesizer that outputs to 22kHz 16bit?

Already tried, do not play, it's 18kHz. Not sure if that affects playing.

Hello Oliver,
hope all is well.... what is the question?
if you are referring to the Archive of the Bat with the CONF. that file has the replica of 328 for 328P with different signature so that the AVRDUDE will not throw an error in case you don't force with '-f'.

It works great for both 328 and 328P.

I hope that answered your question?

Sorry for translation. ;-)

Guys, unfortunately people don't read the threads completely and keep buying the voice module from emartee. we know that is not good..
So, my suggestion is to remove the links for the board and if people want that board we could put instead a link to Thomas9x's site.. I think it's him that has some chips/boards that work.
Also put a link to the MegaSound board.
The way it is at the moment, people will keep wasting money buying something that doesn't work well..
