Turnigy 9X "scrambles" model setup info??

Anyone ever seen this happen? Awhile back, a Trex 550E I was flying (Naza H for FBL controller) went completely berserk and crashed. During the incident, I had no control of the bird at all. Post crash inspection of the TX showed that several parameters were NOT as I originally set them.

For example, CH1 was sourced from AIL (as it should have been) when I set it up, but after the crash CH1 was sourced from RUD!!

Is it possible this could happen? With any piece of electronics, it's certainly a possibility I suspect.

So I believe a whole new 9X along with the 9Xtreme board will be in my short term future.

Appreciate any comments/advice any of you may have.
