Does the programmer work with error?
I think this is normal and not to worry. There was a discussion of how to reflash the programmer usbasp so this does not happen. As long as your able to program with eepe or C9X you're OK.

A search for SCK in the forum found this info
"The sck error with the locked firmware is because that firmware ignores the speed settings. It has an 'autospeed' function."
What programmer are you using? This was in reference to a HK USBasp but others from eBay do the same.

The same happens here when I using HK's USBasp device but that doesn't affects the programming process.

Hello, I have had the same problem. Bug fixed installing the new driver http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/avrdude/

I have the same 'problem' with ebay bought usbasp stick, but it doesn't matter. Everything works perfectly anyway.
