When starting eePe, it asked if I want to doanload the lastest version, R766 (7-17-2012), should I be loading R766 or the stable version R708?

Is there a list of enhancments/bug fixes for each revision?

Thanks in advance!
Ozzy

Download eepe from here,

http://code.google.com/p/eepe/

Install it and configure it for the er9x version you have. (er9x, er9x_frsky, etc).
When you reestart eepe, it will download the latest available version of er9x.

NOTE: er9x_frsky is to use only if you did the telemetry mod to the radio, that involves re-routing 2 of the switches to other 2 pins of the CPU. If you haven't done this, please choose the er9x version..

eepe can also flash the fw to the radio but you will have to configure it to your programmer.. I think there are a couple tutorials on the wiki?? not sure though.

Before you try to flash your radio, try first to read your eeprom and save it in your computer.. If you can do this step it is normally a sign that all is ok and there will be no problem flashing the radio..

If you have any doubts about the configuration don't hesitate to ask here.

But so remember... Eepe and companion will read the epprom - but complain. They don't know what format it is - but can download it :)

New to forums, noticed there is no stable version listing for ER9X, is it advisable to use the latest version listed, as that is all that is available as far as I can see?

Yes, the latest version is considered stable.

I took the plunge on the weekend and flashed er9x to my radio. I used the "Latest Binaries". However it has a version something like v345? (sorry I do not have the tx here with me as I type this). I am wanting to experiment with the sound module addition and I see it requires version V772 or later. I have searched for the "latest version" and all roads lead me back to the page I got the v345 from. Can someone please direct me to where I can see the various versions, especially v772. By the way is v772 considered stable?? Thanks to whoever....

Mike... do you have access on google code to edit the home page contents?

May be worth updating the link to the above locations?

I'll see if I can find time. Erazz used to do that, I've not got into the habit of keeping it updated.

Mike.

The er9x Code Page:
http://code.google.com/p/er9x/
Has links for 'Latest Binaries' of the different flavors of ER9X, but doesn't display the version/revision/date/time of any of the current releases.
Where do I get that information?
It sure would be convenient (and expected) if the version information were displayed with the link.
Also, on:
http://openrcforums.com/wiki/index.php/ ... nformation
the link:
A detailed list of firmware versions and features/fixes can be found at:
http://code.google.com/p/er9x/updates/list
is dead, and should be updated or removed.

Thanks for your help

Click on the "Source" tab
Click on "Changes"

Really easy now.

Set up a mix with Source as sIDx (it's at the end of the list of CH1..Ch16).
Don't set a switch.

It will look like:
CH5 100 sIDx

It will give -100,0,100 (unless you change the weight.
