Ia6b Rx and er9x comparability

Post by accident94 »

Hi all,

Tldr: does er9x not support pwm for some reason?

I just recieved an order of 6 tgy ia6b v2 receivers

I have a turnigy 9x afhds2a tx (fs-th9x) with er9x version v1.747, SVN: er9x-r820

I was under the impression that the ia6b was just an updated ia6, but something is amiss. The Rx binds fine and appears to be recieving a signal, however outputs only on ch1 and the output could barely be considered an output. The rudder is jittery, only moves a bees dick and all 4 sticks seem to be linked to it.

Transmitter is in ppm mode NEg polarity, and ch1 is the ppm output, so i think it's just defaulting to ppm out on ch1 and ch2-6 are disabled or something.
Played around in tx settings looking for another mode but no luck.

My other recievers (ia8 and ia6 non b) work fine with these settings. I assume because they don't support ppm so they default to pwm.

The Rx obviously supports 'normal' operation (see: https://www.quadmeup.com/pwm-ppm-and-se ... ained/amp/) I'm just not able to enable it

I've been trying to fix this for a couple of days now and I'm at my wit's end.

Help me openrcforums, you're my only hope.
