Marco Polo tracker

Post by ShowMaster »

I saw a demo on the 900mhz ism band version at my RC club meeting. It's been redesigned for RC plane recovery. 16 million ID #. Internal lipo good for over 7 days. Only transmits when interrogated by the tracker hand unit. It's just point the hand unit and follow the on screen arrow and distance RSSI readout.
Real small and has it's own internal battery so it can usually survive a crash. Only transmits when the hand unit asks it to so no flying interference.
Startup company so units are backordered.
Very impressive demo.
Worth the $ if you need it.

At my 14 acre field we did have tall weeds to get lost in, but thanks to the lipo crash and turbine crash fires, the weeds are gone. Along with the rattle snakes for now. No rain for in the future so we're good.

Link to pet version but they do have the RC version in production now.
It uses a Doppler EDF technology.
