Problem 2.0.10 and 2.0.11 updates

openTx has introduced a range of new features, ideas and bling. It is fast becoming the firmware of choice for many users. openTx will run on ALL current hardware platforms, including the gruvin9x and sky9x boards. Work has already started to support the new FrSky X9D radio!

Problem 2.0.10 and 2.0.11 updates

Post by X650Morgan »

In order to arm the motors on my MC I must move both radio sticks to either bottom outside or bottom centre, from there I can apply thrust for take off, the FC is a SuperX and has worked without issue right up to version 2.0.08.

Yesterday thinking all the issues with 2.0.10 were resolved so I upgraded from 2.0.8 I did normal checks of connectivity between radio and MC after the update, except I did not do motor arming figuring it would be okay if LEDs and Gimbles were working.

Drove to the field this morning and found the motors would not arm! much playing around came home, found 2.0.11 was released upgraded to that and same thing. everything working except motor arming.

Re-installed 2.0.8 and all things now back to where they were.

I upgrade both firmware and bootloader using the old method of radio off but plugged in.

Can anybody offer a solution or is 2.0.08 the end for me?

Knowing what radio you're using would help.

I am afraid this is a second bug introduced by the compiler change in 2.0.10 :(
https://github.com/opentx/opentx/issues/1701

PS: please PM your email address so that I will send you a new 2.0.10 bin compiled with previous compiler

I downgraded the compilation server to gcc 4.7.4, would you check again?

I have downloaded that and all good back to being able to arm motors.

Something wonderful has to be said about this open source system, you wouldn't get this sort of attention anywhere else, hats of to the developers and more money coming their way.

The vario sensor don't work with the latest release 2.0.11; it worked with the stock...

Would you check the nightly builds? We are going to release 2.0.12 but this needs definitely to be checked!
